TOP 5 COMPACT EVs THAT DEBUTED AT AUTO EXPO 2020


Electric Mobility has remained as one of the major situations discussed by Nirmala Sitaraman in the budget 2020. The Auto Expo 2020 which took place in the Greater Noida had unveiled EVs which have blown the mind of the audience. The themes were based on Electric Mobility with the introduction of EVs. It has been a strong showcasing of various motor cars.


The Auto Expo 2020 is all set to introduce numerous Indian as well as Foreign brands that are going to grab the consumer attention. The brands have come up with various EVs and Smart car technology. India is has one of the most dynamic Automotive industries with trends going up and down. The industry has struggled to make cars meet the consumer prices in terms of mileage and diesel expenditure.

BIRD ELECTRIC EV1

Taking the first position on the list of the top 5 EVs introduced in the Auto Expo 2020. Bird Electric is also known by the name Haima E1 which was released in China. Other than the normal features, it has other features like Touch screen, infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The EV provides the consumers with the approximate mileage of 200-300km. Battery power of this car is around 95Nm out of 20.42kWh.

GWM R1

GWM has a very strong appearance in the electric car market. It has been receiving a lot of attention as well as interest by the consumer markets. India is expecting a showcase of their makings soon. The brand was founded in 1984 and has excelled with experience since then. It gradually developed to become the highest selling SUVs in its domestic territory.
GWM has introduced EV Limelight which is going to be released in India soon. It has the top speed of 100kmph and has a very professional and sportive look

Mahindra XUV 300 Electric

Mahindra is known for its brand reliability and popularity in the indian market. The front of this SUV is different from its previous models. It had been under development for a while and has made its pre-production debut in the Auto Expo 2020. The tail lamps were observed to be sleeker with a metallic blue strap on it. The SUV aims at getting and earning its own name and identity. The interior of the car consists of a huge interior with a touchscreen unlike a mini screen in the previous model. Mahindra has kept the major technical specifications a suspense.

Renault

Renault has also showcased a number of electric vehicles. On of its most recent and low cost electric vehicle is the Renault Kwid Electric. This was introduced already in China by the name of K-ZE which offers a range of 270 kms. It might also introduce a self driving feature in it very soon. A gigantic cabin with fixed touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, telescopic steering, electric tailgate, automatic AC and ventilated seats are some of the features which are expected.
