Science In Our Daily Lives

Science is a boon to the world. We experience science in almost everything we do or observe around us. From the plants undergoing photosynthesis to the pen we use, everything is a part of science. From respiration to excretion, every activity is a part of science. We are completely surrounded by the phenomenon and inventions of science.

Washing clothes, ironing, cooking, everything is an invention of science. These innovations have made life a lot easier. Mobile phones are portable and can be used whenever and wherever required. The invention of the internet has made it possible to know anything in just one click. The television is an ultimate source of entertainment. Also, it helps us to know the happenings around the globe. The calculator, the laptops, the electricity we use, everything is an invention of science. How inconvenient life would have been without the basic necessities of life?

The advent of science has changed the entire face of technology in every sphere of life. The agricultural and medical practices today are all a result of science. Organic farming is being practiced to provide healthy and disease-free food to human society. Many therapies are being invented to cure various genetic diseases. Even the deadly diseases can be cured with advanced medical treatments. The transportation has become a lot easier. We can travel to distant places within no time. Even the heaviest cargos can be transported easily.

Even studies nowadays are science oriented. E-learning is the talk of the century. Students find it easier to study through the animated visuals than through the prints. It helps them understand things in a better way. The internet is the best source of knowledge. You can get any information in just one click.

Thus, we see how useful science in our day to day lives. However, too much of anything is dangerous. Though science has been a blessing in disguise, it has its own drawbacks. The advent of industrialization and too much use of vehicles has led to different types of pollution. All this has led to global warming and the earth’s temperature is said to be increasing at a rapid rate. Therefore, the use of science should be done only when required and not for every single thing.

Do not use vehicles for short distances, and plant trees everywhere. Use the internet only for studies and not for entertainment purposes. This will protect your eyes from damage. Save electricity as much as you can. It is you who can create as well as destroy things. So, do as much as you can from your end, and science will stay in your daily lives forever.
